Naps Terms of Service

Welcome to Naps ("the App"), owned and operated by Kawi Software. By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.

1. What Naps is

Naps is a baby care tracker for parents and caregivers: you log sleeps, feeds, diapers, first foods, and growth, and the App shows your baby's own patterns alongside typical ranges from published pediatric sleep references. Guidance in the App is learned from your logs and anchored in published guidance — it is a planning aid, not a verdict on your baby or your parenting.

2. Not medical advice

Naps provides general educational information about typical infant sleep and feeding patterns. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for your pediatrician. Every baby is different; ranges shown are typical values, not targets, and being outside a range is not a diagnosis of anything.

• Always follow the advice of your pediatrician or healthcare provider over anything in the App.
• Follow safe-sleep guidance (a baby sleeps Alone, on their Back, in a safety-approved Crib) at all times — the AAP's current recommendations take precedence over any schedule.
• Never delay a hungry baby's feed to fit a suggested nap window or plan. Your baby's cues always win over the clock.
• For any concern about your baby's growth, feeding, breathing, or sleep safety, contact your healthcare provider — do not rely on the App.

3. Nature of the guidance (no guarantees)

Nap-window suggestions and patterns are computed from your own logs blended with published ranges. Babies are gloriously unpredictable: the App's suggestions can be wrong, and no outcome — a nap, a full night, a settled evening — is promised. Wake-window ranges in particular are practitioner heuristics, not clinically measured values, and the App presents them as gentle guide-rails only.

4. Your content and your household

The logs you create belong to you. Inviting a caregiver to your household shares the baby's log with them — every caregiver in a household can view, add to, and edit that baby's entries, so only invite people you trust with that access. Our Privacy Policy explains how this data is stored and protected.

5. Subscriptions and billing

• Free tier: logging, household sync, history, and core features are free.
• Naps Plus (analytics and insights) is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple ID. Current pricing is shown in the App before any purchase.
• Cancellation: manage or cancel anytime in your device's subscription settings; access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Refunds: purchases are processed by Apple and refunds are handled under Apple's policies; we do not provide separate refunds for periods already started.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the App: no attempts to break, probe, or overload the service, no accessing other households' data, no reselling the App's content, and no use of the App for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or other users.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kawi Software and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the App, including decisions made based on its suggestions. The App is provided "as is" without warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory consumer rights.

8. Changes and termination

We may update the App and these terms; material changes will be noted in the App and by updating the date above. You can stop using the App and delete your account (and with it your data) at any time — see the Privacy Policy.
